[Friends] Big Bad Bike race tomorrow

Folks,

It is upon us already!!  The Big Bad Bike race is tomorrow in Lordship Rec. It is being run by The Trax off road cycling club and by British Cycling. The tottenham Journal will be down to cover it and we are all set for pretty significant fun event in the Rec and hopefully one of many going forward as we build the local cycling community and infrastructure in the park

We have refreshments, spare bikes and helmets on free loan for kids who don't have, a great race track using the many facilities of the park and bags of enthusiasm from a very dedicated team. The event is free and is open to 8-16 year olds.

We have ten volunteers but could really do with a few more to help Marshall and support the registration area and help with set down. If you can give up  some time and visit us by the hut in the rec at 10am it would be really appreciated. If you can let me know on daniel_mintz at yahoo.co.uk or 07990577206 that be great.

Either way we would love you to come down and support this important event and watch our local youth race each other and see them get enthused and most likely get hooked into a really healthy and positive past time. The itinerary is..

10:00 am Volunteers meet at hut in Rec
11:00 Dr Bike opens
11:30 Registration
12:00 Race course opens for practice
13:00 Races Kick Off
