Beneath the Surface – Shadow Art Show
The Friends of Lordship Rec are proud to present a beautiful shadow art show called
Beneath the Surface
by Jennie Pedley and Angela Bullock
Sunday 6th March, 2.30pm at the lake in Lordship Rec
Entrances: Lordship Lane/Higham Road/Walpole Road, Tottenham N17, refreshments in playground building.
To celebrate the restoration of the lake island in Lordship Rec Beneath the Surface is a live shadow show about a small boy who dreams that he enters a picture of a pond and shrinks to the size of an insect. Saturday 11th July 2:00pm
We are holding a photography afternoon on Saturday July 11th in the rec to meet up and walk around taking photos of scenes in the rec that we think best express how we feel about the rec. Our favourite ones will go towards an exhibition called The Essence of the Rec to be held as part of the Lordship Rec festival on September 12th.
We will meet at 2pm at the gate to the rec nearest to the Broadwater Centre on Adams Road/Freedom Road and go off from there around the rec.
If you are feeling creative, then do come along.
